The VB Live Cricket Scoreboard, inspired by the iconic cricket ground scoreboards across Australia, delivered live match updates direct to Australian homes, the heritage inspired scoreboard remotely connects to home Wi-Fi networks to track every ball, run, wicket and milestone of the cricket in real time.
The VB Live Cricket Scoreboard campaign exceeded all targets and was one of Carlton United Breweries (CUB) most successful through-the-line campaigns with over 400,000 entries – largest ever for VB! It also offered technological first giving VB loyalists an incentive ensuring they never missed a moment of cricket.
This campaign was awarded gold for the Best Integrated Communications Campaign (over $1 million) and the Most Innovative Idea/Concept at The Australasian Promotional Marketing Association (APMA) Star Awards plus several POPAI awards.
